Lilith Magazine ran a piece by Liba Vaynberg on driving out west and encountering an unexpected Jewish problem...

"We are about to leave Marfa, Texas, a tiny dot on the map where There Will Be Blood and Giant were filmed. Yes, the sunset is unbelievable, but I’m in a terrible mood because we’ve been living out of our car when we aren’t stopping in motels that look like sets for murder scenes. Anna & Kitty, Inc. is so thrilled to be selected as part of the LABA Second Stage residency and to be the recipient of a funding and spacing grant with this incredible organization, committed to Jewish leadership through arts & culture.

Co-founder & co-president Liba Vaynberg was a LABA Fellowship recipient in 2019, and with this new residency is collaborating on a project with Ben Rosenbach. The project is currently titled The Desert, and its wonderful first (fully vaxxed) first reading was held at the 14STY. Cast members included Robin Galloway, Ben Mehl, and Stephanie Israelson alongside the two writers (Ben Rosenbach and Liba Vaynberg). Stay tuned for forthcoming updates on the project.
